The 2018 Cannondale Trigger Frameset represented a complete overhaul of their all-mountain platform, focusing on versatility and aggressive trail performance. The chassis' core is an advanced frame that, depending on the kit, featured a BallisTec Carbon front triangle and either a SmartForm C1 Alloy or Carbon swingarm. This construction delivered a lightweight yet highly stiff foundation capable of handling the most demanding trails. The geometry was modernized with a slacker head angle (66°) and shorter chainstays (420mm) due to the Ai (Asymmetric Integration) Offset Drivetrain for an agile yet stable ride experience.
