Cervélo P5 Red AXS

P5 is a contre la montre catalyst. It is made for one thing - to help you get from point A to point B as quickly as possible.

Simplicity and adjustability

The new one-piece front end (first used on the S5) is easier to assemble and adjust, and the stack is now adjustable up to 40 mm, while the height of the base bar is reduced by 10 mm to minimise the frontal surface area. The new riser increases the adjustability of the tilt from 0 to 30 degrees in 5-degree increments.



Speed

The new P5 frame is aerodynamically about one watt faster than the previous model and has room for 34 mm tyres. That space means plenty of room for Reserve's new 77/88 wheelset and Vittoria's 29 mm tyre. That saves about 4 watts compared to the previous Reserve/Vittoria pair for a total system saving of about 5 watts.



Comfort and Control

The new armrests and pads on the P5 are wider, higher and thicker than before. It is definitely more comfortable, but it also gives you more confidence. More surface area leads to better control, which means you can spend more time in the most aerodynamic position.
