Chain Sram Rival E1

The SRAM Rival Flattop chain is the component for the 12-speed Rival eTap AXS groupset, developed for the modern road bike. The unique Flattop technology distinguishes this chain from traditional chains: the flat top makes it possible to make the chain narrower and lighter while the pins remain stronger. This innovative design significantly improves the durability and quietness of the chain, allowing it to work seamlessly with the AXS drivetrain.

What makes the Rival Flattop unique is the focus on seamless performance. The hard chrome-plated inner plates and rollers are not only visually striking but also contribute to reduced friction and an incredibly smooth shifting experience. This results in a quieter ride and a longer lifespan for the chain and the corresponding chainrings. The 12-speed chain is fully compatible with both 1x and 2x Rival AXS configurations, providing flexibility for every riding style.

Assembly and disassembly of the SRAM Rival E1 chain is designed for convenience thanks to the included PowerLock connector. This Quick Link is designed for the Flattop architecture and ensures a fast, secure, and permanent connection without tools (although pliers are recommended for disassembly).
