THE NEW LAW IN AERODYNAMIC ROAD WHEELS!

With the aim of bringing the fastest wheel on the market, Fast Forward has developed a new rim profile called LAW Tech. LAW is short for 'Laminar Airflow Wing' and has been specially developed to deliver better aerodynamics when using wider tyres by creating a smooth airflow.

First results were already shown in the previously launched RYOT44 model aimed at all-round performance and use.

They now introduce the fastest road wheel available, the RYOT55! It outperforms its competitors in real-world conditions and has been proven in wind tunnel tests. With its LAW tech rim profile, the RYOT55 brings an aerodynamic advantage of 5 watts at 25mm tyre widths, where its predecessor, the F6 with DARC technology, was best suited with 23mm tyres.

When compared with the most common competitors in the wind tunnel, RYOT55 was found to deliver an average advantage between 1.5 and 2.7 watts. RYOT55 thus sets the new standard in aerodynamic road wheels.

When you hit the road with the RYOT55, these wattage savings translate into the same result while saving energy, or you can go faster at the same energy input as before. This will make all the difference when you are in the finals of a race or need to beat your cycling friends at the coffee stop!

Building wheels that last

Being competitive on aerodynamics is one thing, weight is also very important. At 1620g for the RYOT55, they are building a set to last and offer excellent performance in stiffness due to the partial use of DT AeroComp spokes. The 21mm internal rim width will result in an effective tyre width of 28mm when using 25mm tyres.

Choose the hubs that suit you. You have a choice between the new high-quality FFWD hubs or the DT240 EXP hubs. The FFWD hubs are designed with the 2:1 spoke pattern (double amount of spokes on critical side), also have the ratchet drive and large bearings for extra durability. The DT Swiss 240 hubs have an improved EXP ratchet system. The hub components offer even higher precision with quick engagement, more stiffness combined with lower weight.

The Shimano options are suitable for both 11 speed and the new 12 speed!
